qwikALERT

Set in the Dashboard, alerted as you work

qwikALERT is a simple little widget to remind you of those little things that you would otherwise forget.

It could be anything you like, such as change channel now, call back the guy who was on lunch, or even, stop playing with your computer and go do something else!!

Simply type in the message you want to get, the date and time of that alert and press enter. Alerts are added and managed quickly and easily via the widget but alerts will interupt whatever your doing, in any application.

Alerts can even be set to remind you of the same thing every day or any other interval.

Download and Installation Instuctions

Most users can just click download, if that doesn't install the widget, follow these instuctions provided by Apple.

Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger is required. If you’re using Safari, click the download link. When the widget download is complete, show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widget’s icon in the Widget Bar to open it. If you’re using a browser other than Safari, click the download link. When the widget download is complete, unarchive it and place it in /Library/Widgets/ in your home folder. show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widget’s icon in the Widget Bar to open it.
